Overview

In this role you will design and develop primary and secondary packaging for SKIMS Beauty, translating brand strategy into manufacturable solutions. You'll collaborate with Product Development, Brand, Creative, Regulatory and Operations to deliver iconic, scalable packaging. You will lead the creation of dielines, structures and artwork while upholding premium brand standards and sustainability. This is a chance to shape the packaging language of a growing global beauty platform and impact shelf presence, unboxing experiences, and everyday usage.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop primary and secondary packaging across beauty categories
  • Translate brand strategy into distinctive, functional packaging concepts
  • Develop dielines, structures, and artwork with engineering and suppliers
  • Ensure packaging reflects SKIMS Beauty's visual identity and premium positioning
  • Collaborate with Creative and Brand to evolve packaging standards
  • Work with Product Development, Regulatory, Quality and Operations for compliant, scalable packaging
  • Prepare production-ready files, specs, and documentation; review proofs and pre-production samples
  • Partner with suppliers on feasibility, cost, and timelines; participate in vendor reviews and troubleshooting
  • Support sustainable packaging initiatives and material innovation to improve functionality, cost and environmental impact
  • Assist packaging readiness for new product launches
Key requirements
  • 4+ years of packaging design experience in beauty, cosmetics, consumer products, or luxury goods
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging design, structural thinking, and brand expression
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Experience with 3D mockup tools such as Adobe Dimension, Cinema 4D, Blender, Artios CAD or similar
  • Working knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, and production workflows
  • Experience in fast-paced cross-functional product development environments
  • Strong design sensibility with attention to detail
  • Highly collaborative and cross-functional mindset
  • Technically curious with production discipline
