Overview As a Finance Analyst in CTRCS at the World Bank Group, you support disbursement-related activities and portfolio management across client countries. You will work with regional teams to resolve issues, assist in Trust Funds and loan operations, and help drive data-driven reporting and system improvements. You'll train borrowers, enhance online tools, and contribute to loan portfolio oversight in a global, multi-timezone context. This role blends finance, systems, and client service to enable efficient disbursements and stronger fiduciary controls.

Responsibilities- Process disbursement transactions and act as country focal point for assigned countries
- Manage project preparation, restructuring for low-risk Trust Funds, and review packages
- Monitor inactive Designated Accounts and support portfolio management and refunds
- Provide training and capacity building to clients on online systems and data tools
- Support system enhancements, perform testing, and prepare disbursement/analytical reports
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and other tools; support data visualization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Act as liaison between business teams and data engineering; ensure accurate data interpretation
Key requirements- Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; master's a plus
- Minimum five years of relevant experience
- Experience with financial systems, AI, and/or blockchain a plus
- Knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and World Bank policies
- Advanced English; Additional languages (Arabic, French, Portuguese, Russian) advantageous
