In this role you provide expert guidance on business process technology, shaping system scope and aligning solutions with the company's strategic goals. You'll support cross-functional projects, mentor teams, and ensure delivery of technically sound applications and processes. Responsibilities
  • Capture and document highly complex technology needs and requirements for business processes
  • Provide application/solution development support for IT tools and processes (requirements, design, production support)
  • Deliver training materials on best practices for key technology components
  • Facilitate adoption of best practices and policies across projects and programs
  • Collaborate with business SMEs to define requirements for custom development and shrink-wrapped software
  • Engage internal/external clients to gather requirements and propose improvements
  • Lead cross-divisional/global teams for ROI analysis and business case information gathering
  • Research and recommend solutions aligned with client needs and corporate standards
  • Coordinate with other Black & Veatch units to ensure quality end-user support for networks and applications
  • Collaborate with 3rd party providers to execute project initiatives and address tech issues
  • Act as a lead with supervisory responsibilities for team members (BPTA and Associates)
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8-10 years of experience
  • Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR)
  • Knowledge of information technology tools and business processes
  • Experience in leading or guiding project teams
  • Problem solving
  • Dealing with ambiguity
  • Process management
  • Virtual Design and Construction (VDC)
  • Building Information Modelling (BIM)
  • Project extranets and virtual collaboration technologies/network infrastructure
