Overview In this role you will lead and consult on complex tax matters for financial institutions, guiding the tax compliance process and ensuring regulatory alignment. You will work within the Financial Services Practice to grow the business, mentor a tax team, and deliver strategic solutions. You'll engage across the firm to share knowledge, improve processes, and drive client value. Responsibilities- Develop and sustain key client relationships end-to-end
- Consult on a range of tax matters and anticipate client needs
- Perform technical reviews of ASC 740 tax accounting, computations, and reporting
- Collaborate cross-functionally to grow business and offer solutions
- Develop and expand professional network for new business opportunities
- Continuous improvement of tax knowledge and professional development
- Recruit, develop, and motivate team members and build leadership bench
- Set and achieve stretch business development goals
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Law; Master's degree in Tax/LLM preferred
- 7+ years of public accounting firm experience
- CPA certification
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication and networking abilities
- Ability to manage and grow client relationships
- Experience with corporate tax accounting; ASC 740 preferred
- Experience with tax software and technology
