Overview Leading regulatory and external reporting for a banking organization, you will ensure accurate, timely disclosures and strengthen reporting controls. You'll guide a team, partner with cross-functional finance and business groups on complex initiatives, and advise on accounting treatment for new transactions. This role blends technical reporting with leadership to support audits and drive continuous improvement in controls and processes.
Responsibilities- Lead preparation, review, and submission of external and regulatory reports on schedule and with accuracy
- Direct bank holding company reporting and capital-related submissions for consistency across disclosures
- Evaluate monthly/quarterly reporting packages and support analyses for technical questions and industry comparisons
- Approve accounting entries with proper supporting documentation and policy adherence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on enterprise initiatives and complex transactions to determine reporting implications
- Develop and oversee internal controls for financial and regulatory reporting; coordinate with audit teams
- Provide leadership and prioritization for the reporting staff, review workpapers, and manage deadlines
- Communicate reporting issues, compliance considerations, and conclusions to leadership and business partners
