Responsibilities- Add value through complex transactions including IPOs, SPACs, M&A, and divestitures
- Assist clients in audits and financial reporting processes
- Develop understanding of technical topics and financial reporting areas (revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, leases, fixed assets, liabilities)
- Prepare and review financial statements with disclosures; assist SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q)
- Conduct detailed revenue analysis and revenue recognition
- Identify and discuss GAAP issues with engagement leadership
- Support drafting of financial statements and disclosures
- Assist in technical accounting guidance applications to client situations
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
- 1-3 years of public accounting or relevant industry experience
- CPA preferred or actively pursuing certification
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of work
- Team-oriented, professional demeanor, strong verbal and written communication
- Strong interest in technical accounting and research
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills
- Some travel ( 10%)
