Overview

As Project Manager for PCL Construction, you will lead complex civil West projects from scope through closeout. You drive safety culture, quality, and schedule alignment while delivering value for clients and stakeholders. You work with cross-functional teams to manage risks, budgets, and resources, shaping delivery on design-build or traditional projects. Responsibilities
  • Oversee contract administration and technical leadership on large/complex projects
  • Lead safety planning and promote a strong on-site safety culture
  • Manage construction, budget, resources, quality, and schedule to align with design and client expectations
  • Negotiate subcontracts, major purchase orders, and progress payments; monitor progress and schedules
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities; maintain proactive communication with stakeholders
  • Coordinate project commissioning and closeout; ensure compliance and quality audits (design-build where applicable)
  • Mentor and supervise project team, including direct and indirect reports
  • Lead design-management activities for design-build deliveries and ensure timely deliverables and quality
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
  • 10-15 years of progressive construction experience with leadership/mentoring experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to implement strong safety culture and EHS principles
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and quality/safety practices
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills; budget, resource, and schedule management
  • Ability to monitor resources, forecast staffing, manage risks and opportunities, and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Experience leading teams and coordinating multiple trades; proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management/scheduling software
  • Willingness to work in the United States; unrestricted work authorization (visa sponsorship not available)
