Overview In this role you will support the accounting operation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, driving the transition after an acquisition. You will manage core accounting tasks and help integrate and streamline processes across the organization. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance, while leading small improvement projects. This is a hands-on, independent role with a clear impact on consolidation and efficiency.
Responsibilities- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Assist in integrating accounting operations from an acquired entity and identify efficiencies
- Lead and support small projects and process improvement initiatives with minimal oversight
- Analyze workflows and implement new processes where needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition of accounting activities
- Utilize ERP systems to manage financial data and reporting
- Support financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-4+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Public accounting experience is a strong plus
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth or large company environments with strong training
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems
- Proven ability to work independently and adapt to changing responsibilities
