Overview In this role you will support DoD cyber training initiatives for DISA GSM-O II, shaping training capabilities and evaluation standards to raise cyber readiness. You'll work with cross-functional teams to plan, develop, and maintain training curricula and materials, ensuring alignment with DoD directives and mission requirements. You will help translate threat/adversary insights into training and contribute to certifications and task proficiency for cyber operations forces. This is a mission-driven opportunity to influence cyber workforce readiness at scale within a DoD context.
Responsibilities- Define cyber training requirements and procedures to advocate for the Command and DoD
- Plan, manage, conduct, and integrate the cyber training program including curriculum updates
- Support continuous performance improvement and standardization based on capability needs and adversary changes
- Maintain DCDC training databases for accuracy and timeliness of records
- Identify, track, and resolve issues impacting training, exercises, and daily operations
- Gather inputs from cyberspace operations elements to ensure representative inputs for training
- Develop materials and support training to maintain mission essential task proficiency
- Develop foundation to expert level training for DoD Cyber Operations Forces
- Create training materials to ensure an informed, alert, and security-conscious workforce per DoD directives
- Review and update System Security Plan recommendations for Certification and Accreditation
- Manage metrics and status reports for Information Assurance training under DoD directives
- Assist in managing tools and reports for the Workforce Improvement Program including certification data
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 4-8 years of experience (or equivalent experience)
- IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, CND, GSEC, SSCP, GICSP)
- Solid knowledge of the four phases of the Joint Training System: Requirements, Plans, Execution, Assessments
- Familiarity with DRRS, JTIMS, and JLLIS programs of record
- Knowledge of Joint Planning Process (JOPP) and Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) for joint training exercises
- Ability to travel occasionally for exercise development
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for CI polygraph
- Preferred: experience with DISA/DoD networks and briefing SES/GOFO leadership
