Responsibilities- Supervise daily VSD technician activities including assembly, programming, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Coordinate with Engineering, Applications, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and implement process improvements
- Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC/VFD docs to support troubleshooting
- Lead root-cause analyses for equipment failures and defects
- Maintain ERP-driven workflows for production orders, inventory accuracy, BOM validation, and work orders
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve quality
- Train and develop VSD personnel in product knowledge, safe practices, and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and electrical standards
Key requirements- 5 years of experience with VSDs/VFDs in manufacturing or industrial settings
- ESP industry experience (service, engineering, repair, or manufacturing)
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) for work orders and production tracking
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, ladder logic, I/O schematics, and electrical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting for VSDs, electrical panels, and control circuits
- Proven cross-functional collaboration with Applications Eng, Product Eng, Quality, and Operations
- Strong leadership with supervisory experience
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
