Position Overview
2020 Companies is looking for reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Retail Installation & Merchandising Specialists to represent leading brands such as Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, managing their own schedule, meeting deadlines, and working with technology. You will complete retail installation, merchandising, maintenance, and display assignments at various retail locations within a 90-mile service area.
Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills are essential. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate availability, communicating with field management, building positive store-level relationships, and ensuring high-quality execution on every assignment.
Position Details
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Travel Area: Must be willing to travel up to 90 miles from your residence in any direction.
Schedule: Primarily Monday Friday.
Hours: Flexible assignments scheduled between approximately 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Assignment-Based Hours: Hours depend on available projects and are not guaranteed.
Scheduling: Opportunities may include self-scheduling as well as scheduled shifts based on client and project requirements.
Availability: Maintain at least 20 hours of availability for field assignments within a rolling 30-day period.
Communication: Respond to field services management and maintain consistent communication, generally within 24 hours of contact, depending on project requirements.
Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance required.
Screening: Candidates must successfully complete a background check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening, and drug screening in accordance with applicable state laws.
Key Responsibilities
Install, assemble, maintain, and update retail fixtures, shelving, endcaps, displays, kiosks, and other merchandising equipment.
Complete retail resets, store build-outs, remodels, repairs, and merchandising projects.
Follow planograms (POGs), schematics, client instructions, and other merchandising directives accurately.
Install and service TVs, interactive displays, kiosks, and other retail technology.
Update operating systems and software on display devices.
Install and replace graphics, pricing cards, SD cards, signage, and other marketing materials.
Troubleshoot and repair hardware, displays, fixtures, and other equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Complete required forms, surveys, photos, and documentation before leaving each job site.
Capture and upload photos and other assignment information using a smartphone or designated mobile application.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Complete all assigned jobs fully and by the required deadline.
Accept and schedule assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt.
Maintain accurate availability and communicate schedule changes as needed.
Accurately submit timecards and report daily discrepancies or required corrections.
Track, record, and communicate work activity through designated systems and workflows.
Participate in early-morning installations and projects requiring teams of two or more people.
Provide feedback and potential solutions when issues arise during projects.
Manage virtual software and technology-related tasks to ensure successful completion.
Assist other team members when needed.
Complete required training and certification programs within established timeframes.
Work independently in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Be available for weekend, holiday, early-morning, or late-night assignments when required by the client or project.
Project Execution

Work closely with shared services and field teams to meet project goals.

Requirements & Qualifications
Eligibility
Must be at least 18 years old due to insurance requirements.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
Previous retail or merchandising experience is helpful but not required.
Experience
Preferred experience includes:
Retail installation and merchandising
Using hand and power tools
Following planograms (POGs), schematics, and client instructions
Installing, repairing, and maintaining retail displays and fixtures
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
Climb ladders up to 10 feet.
Safely lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
Kneel, walk, crouch, bend, reach overhead, handle/grasp materials, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
Work safely in a variety of retail environments.
Transportation & Travel
Reliable personal transportation is required.
Valid driver's license required.
Current auto insurance required.
Must be willing and able to travel up to 90 miles from your residence for assignments.
Technology Requirements
Must have an Android or Apple smartphone with a current operating system and active data plan.
Must be comfortable downloading and navigating mobile applications.
Must be able to clock in/out, access digital work instructions, upload photos, submit information, and connect to the internet using a mobile device.
Must be able to independently use various communication platforms and designated company systems.
