Position Overview
2020 Companies is adding field representatives in the Waco market to support retail installation, merchandising, and technology projects for recognized brands such as Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP.
This is an active field position where you will visit different retail stores and complete project-based assignments. Work may range from setting up fixtures and displays to servicing technology equipment and refreshing merchandising areas.
The right candidate should be dependable, comfortable working independently, able to follow detailed instructions, and confident using a smartphone and basic tools.
What You Can Expect
This position offers flexibility because assignments can vary by store, project, and week. Some work may be available for self-scheduling, while other projects will have specific dates and times established by the client.
Pay rate: $17.00/hour
Monday Friday opportunities
Typical assignment times between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Flexible scheduling based on project availability
Some assignments may require weekends, holidays, early mornings, or late hours
Minimum of 20 hours of availability during a rolling 30-day period
Travel of up to 90 miles from your home may be required
Hours are dependent on available assignments and are not guaranteed
Primary Duties
Field representatives will visit retail locations and complete assigned merchandising and installation projects.
Depending on the assignment, duties may include:
Assemble and install store fixtures and merchandising structures
Build or refresh shelving, endcaps, and display areas
Perform retail resets and store remodeling projects
Install televisions, kiosks, interactive displays, and other equipment
Service existing retail displays and fixtures
Replace graphics, signage, pricing materials, and promotional components
Install or replace SD cards and related display materials
Perform software and operating system updates
Identify and correct basic equipment or display problems
Complete break-fix service when required
Follow planograms, schematics, store layouts, and client instructions
Take photographs of completed work
Upload required photos, surveys, and documentation
Keep work areas clean and safe
Maintain a professional relationship with store employees and client representatives
Assignment Management
Representatives are responsible for staying organized throughout the entire assignment process.
You will be expected to:
Keep your availability information accurate
Review and accept assigned projects
Schedule assignments within required deadlines
Complete work by the assigned due date
Maintain communication with field service management
Generally respond to management communications within 24 hours
Report project concerns, store conditions, and unexpected issues
Submit accurate timecards
Report and correct timekeeping discrepancies
Document completed work through designated systems
Complete required training and certifications
Assist other representatives when additional support is needed
Store & Project Work
Projects may be completed independently or with other field representatives.
Some larger installations may involve a team of two or more people. Early-morning installation work may also be required depending on store operating hours and client requirements.
Representatives should be prepared to adapt to different store layouts, project instructions, equipment, and timelines.
Travel & Transportation
Because this is a field position, candidates must be comfortable driving to different retail locations.
Requirements include:
Reliable personal vehicle
Valid driver's license
Current auto insurance
Ability to travel up to 90 miles from home for assignments
Willingness to travel in any direction within the assigned service area
Eligible travel may qualify for paid drive time and mileage reimbursement.
Physical Requirements
The position involves frequent movement and hands-on installation work.
Applicants must be able to:

Climb ladders as high as 10 feet

Mobile Device Requirements
A smartphone is required because assignments and documentation are managed electronically.

Reviewing assignments
