Responsibilities- Oversee preparation and final review of complex federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals
- Identify and implement sophisticated tax-saving strategies while staying compliant with evolving laws
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing tax team with regular feedback and guidance
- Advise internal leadership and external clients on technical tax issues, including M&A due diligence and international tax implications
- Maintain the firm's tax risk profile through accurate ASC 740 tax accounting and timely filings across jurisdictions
Key requirements- Bachelor in Accounting or Finance
- Active CPA license
- 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, statutory accounting, and multi-state tax regulations
- Ability to distill complex tax concepts into actionable business advice for non-tax stakeholders
- Masters in Taxation (MST) highly preferred
