Senior Estimator

In this role you will lead cost estimation for municipal infrastructure projects, emphasizing underground utilities, sewer, piping, and roadway works. You will partner with project managers and engineers to produce accurate bids, assess risks, and guide cost management to support feasibility and profitability. The position sits within a collaborative team focused on delivering complex civil projects for public and private clients. You will leverage estimating tools to improve accuracy and support winning proposals.

• Analyze plans and specs to develop accurate cost estimates
• Prepare detailed bid proposals for municipal projects
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers for information gathering
• Assess risks and advise on cost management
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing
• Review subcontractor bids for completeness and accuracy
• Utilize estimating software to streamline processes and improve accuracy

• 10+ years of estimating experience in construction, with municipal focus
• Strong knowledge of estimating techniques and methodologies
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools (HCSS preferred)
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
