Overview In this role, you will lead the Physician Service Organization's clinical sections to advance high-quality, cost-effective pediatric care. You will partner with physician leaders to plan, staff, budget, and drive performance improvement across care, research, and academics. You'll coordinate cross-functional initiatives, optimize resource use, and support program development and faculty processes. You will work within a renowned pediatric system committed to family-centered care and scholarly activity, shaping operations and outcomes at a top Texas hospital.
Responsibilities- Ensure delivery of high-quality, cost-effective patient care through cross-functional performance improvement
- Budget for professional and technical revenue and monitor financial status with corrective action plans
- Monitor operations of budget-sensitive service models and coordinate with other departments to adapt staffing and productivity
- Coordinate service and departmental planning across care, research, and academics; prioritize initiatives with cross-functional leaders
- Provide support for new program development, faculty recruitment, credentialing, and faculty development
- Provide structured staff feedback and manage performance issues per policy
- Participate in system-wide hospital and academic projects
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field
- 5 years Healthcare operations experience and 3 years Supervisory experience OR 3 years ACHE Postgraduate Administrative Fellowship and 2 years Supervisory experience
