IT Asset Administrator & Process Owner

Your Mission:
As the IT Asset Management Administrator and Process Owner, you will strengthen global oversight of hardware and software assets by improving lifecycle governance, data quality, compliance and cost transparency across IT and business teams.
Your Role & Main Responsibilities:
Own and continuously improve the global IT Asset Management process across the full hardware, cloud and software lifecycle.
Manage the procurement, deployment, tracking, recovery, reuse and disposal of IT assets.
Define ITAM policies, standards, controls, roles and workflows aligned with ITIL and business requirements.
Maintain accurate asset, supplier, contract and software licence records.
Track budgets, leases, depreciation, expenses and disposals, and reconcile asset data with Finance.
Monitor licensing, security and audit compliance, and lead corrective actions when needed.
Set KPIs and dashboards to report on asset performance, compliance, service levels and optimization opportunities.
Partner with IT, Finance, Procurement, Security, Legal and business teams to drive governance and accountability.
Manage vendors, request quotes and support global sourcing plans and technology standards.
Coordinate ITAM dependencies with Configuration, Incident, Change and Information Security processes.
Provide clear guidance, training and timely escalation to support teams, stakeholders and end users.
Qualifications:
College diploma or technical degree in a technology-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five or more years of experience in IT Asset Management/Process Definition.
Demonstrated expertise in IT asset management frameworks, controls and lifecycle practices.
Working knowledge of IT hardware, software, networks and ITIL practices.
Hands-on experience using procurement tools and applying purchasing policies and approval processes in Service Now, Intune, Company Portal, ABM and Oracle.
Proficiency in data analysis, reporting and dashboard tools, with strong problem-solving skills.
Strong communication, customer service and relationship-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams, customers and vendors.
Ability to influence stakeholders, resolve competing priorities and build alignment across functions.
Ability to translate governance requirements into clear, usable process documentation, procedures and operational guidance.
Experience working within service-level agreements, operational targets and structured service management practices.
Flexibility to participate in a rotating schedule that supports multiple time zones, when required.
Strong Knowledge of Service Now & Certifications
