Overview As a Senior Tax Manager, you will lead our tax department in a player-coach role, guiding complex federal and state returns for corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals. You will shape high-impact tax planning initiatives while ensuring compliance and risk management across jurisdictions. You'll mentor and develop a high-performing tax team and serve as a key advisor to internal leadership and clients on technical matters. This hybrid, growth-focused role offers a path to Director or Partner while working across Scottsdale and Chandler offices.

Responsibilities- Oversee preparation and final review of complex federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals
- Identify and implement sophisticated tax-saving strategies while ensuring compliance with evolving legislation
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing tax team with regular feedback and guidance
- Act as a key advisor on technical tax matters for internal leadership or external clients
- Maintain tax risk profile and ensure accurate ASC 740 accounting and timely filings across jurisdictions
Key requirements- Bachelor in Accounting or Finance (minimum); MST highly preferred
- Active CPA license
- 7+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, statutory accounting, and multi-state tax regulations
- Ability to translate complex tax concepts into actionable advice for non-tax stakeholders
