Responsibilities- Develop global Category Strategy and initiative pipeline for semiconductors aligned with company leadership
- Lead high-value commercial negotiations with strategic suppliers
- Manage and develop key supplier ecosystems, monitor value targets, and mitigate supplier risks
- Create and maintain category guidance documents translating strategy into actionable content
- Build deep relationships with senior stakeholders, challenge demand and specifications to maximise value, and oversee CSR reviews
- Coach procurement colleagues, oversee an Associate Category Manager, and track budget spend
Key requirements- 8+ years of strategic and operational procurement experience
- Extensive knowledge of global electronics supply markets and category management
- Experience in regulated industries and familiarity with legal and quality risks
- Deep knowledge of semiconductor market dynamics (foundry vs fabless, wafer supply, microcontrollers)
- Proficiency with enterprise systems, P2P tools, and sourcing/negotiation platforms (eSourcing, eAuction)
- Strong financial acumen including TCO and cost modeling
- Leadership, change management, and experience leading cross-functional teams
- Business-level English, willingness to travel up to 30%
