Tax Accountant - Retail Location

In this role you will be a on-site TurboTax Retail Expert, serving as a trusted advisor to customers and helping them navigate tax needs. You'll work with a collaborative team to deliver hands-on tax preparation, advice, and software support while growing the local client base and building long-term relationships. The position blends tax expertise with community engagement to empower financial well-being. You will be a visible local ambassador, contributing to Intuit's mission of powering prosperity and delivering a top-tier customer experience.

• Provide hands-on tax preparation and personalized tax advice for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex situations
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to maximize deductions and refunds and offer future tax planning
• Represent TurboTax in the local community and participate in marketing efforts to attract and convert prospects into long-term clients
• Deliver exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine client support, including in-person and video interactions
• Support local marketing initiatives and build a loyal client base with cross-selling opportunities through TurboTax resources

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax prep experience
• Active PTIN required to file taxes
• State licenses/certificates/permits/bonds as applicable
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season with professional software
• Familiarity with Circular 230
• Onsite availability at a TurboTax location (20+ hours/week); willingness to work in retail environment
• Willingness to wear TurboTax uniform and engage in front-facing roles
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
• Resides in the United States
• Interest in building a local and online presence with content and outreach
