HR Services Specialist

As HR Services Specialist, you support payroll, benefits, compensation, payroll tax, and HR service delivery for US and Canada within a centralized HR Services team. You work in a ticket-based model to resolve inquiries promptly while delivering an excellent employee experience. You apply payroll and benefits concepts, tax implications, and knowledge of HR processes to support operations. You report to the VP of HR Services and help drive service quality and process improvements.

• Provide HR Service Center support to employees, managers, and HR partners; resolve inquiries on payroll, benefits, compensation, employee data, and processes
• Meet SLAs and quality standards while researching and resolving complex issues
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance service delivery and employee experience
• Support payroll-related activities, analytics, reconciliations, and audits
• Assist with year-end reporting (W-2, T4) and payroll tax administration
• Maintain data integrity across HR systems and generate reports
• Collaborate with Payroll Operations, Dayforce Managed Services, and vendors to resolve issues
• Support system testing, validation, and implementation of enhancements

• 5+ years in payroll, HR services, benefits, HR operations, or related field
• Experience in a shared services or service center with a ticketing system
• Knowledge of payroll administration and payroll tax fundamentals
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reporting)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle confidential information
• Experience with HR systems such as Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, and HR Link (preferred)
