Overview In this role you lead full-cycle lateral partner recruitment to support Nelson Mullins' growth strategy. You will partner with firm leadership to understand hiring needs and build proactive talent pipelines. You'll manage candidate experience, analytics, and process improvements to raise recruitment effectiveness. You will collaborate with external search firms and networks to extend reach, ensuring high-quality placements that fit the firm's culture. This is a key role for shaping the firm's partner talent and strategic expansion.
Responsibilities- Lead full-cycle recruitment for lateral partner hires
- Develop and execute strategic recruitment initiatives
- Build proactive talent pipelines via networking, referrals, social media, and direct outreach
- Collaborate with external search firms and recruiting partners
- Maintain candidate records and recruitment activity in the ATS
- Monitor recruiting metrics and recommend process improvements
Key requirements- Minimum seven years of proven legal recruiting experience
- Strong knowledge of partner recruitment and legal market trends
- Experience with external search firm relationships and legal industry dynamics
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence attorneys, leadership, and candidates
- Strong organizational and project management abilities to prioritise multiple searches
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with ATS and recruitment technology
