Overview

In this role you lead Garver's Wichita Buildings practice, guiding a multidisciplinary team to serve architectural clients. You develop regional architectural firm relationships and oversee discipline-specific design across mechanical, electrical, and structural aspects. You'll coordinate with Garver's broader teams, manage projects, and ensure quality and timely delivery. This position offers impact through shaping a growing client-focused practice and advancing sustainable building design. You'll work with cross-functional teams to drive growth and project success in a dynamic, client-centric environment.

Responsibilities
  • Build and lead a multi-discipline engineering team supporting architectural clients
  • Develop regional architectural firms as Garver Buildings Team clients
  • Provide engineering support for architectural clients (structural, mechanical, electrical)
  • Manage projects and deliver discipline-specific design
  • Coordinate with internal teams across Garver's regional footprint
  • Travel as required by client and project location
  • Maintain time management and product quality on assigned projects
  • Develop and follow QA/QC plans and maintain project accounting
Key requirements
  • ABET-accredited degree in engineering or architectural engineering with a structural, mechanical, or electrical focus
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
  • 5-15 years of building design and construction industry experience
  • Active engagement with architectural clients
  • Experience overseeing designs with detailed plans and specs
  • Technically competent in building system designs
  • Experience with Autodesk Revit
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
