Responsibilities- Design, execute, and analyze in vitro and ex vivo studies to probe disease mechanisms and test therapeutic hypotheses
- Generate high-quality data to support target identification, validation, and program progression in rare disease research
- Investigate Thyroid Eye Disease related biology including immune dysregulation and tissue remodeling
- Integrate experimental results with literature, human genetics, and clinical data to develop mechanistic insights
- Apply computational and data analysis tools to evaluate datasets and aid target prioritization
- Develop and implement innovative experimental approaches to improve rigor and translational relevance
- Collaborate across disease biologists, computational scientists, translational researchers, and partner functions
- Present findings to project teams and governance forums; contribute to knowledge-sharing and documentation
- Build relationships with internal and external collaborators including academic partners and experts
- Contribute to scientific discussions, target reviews, and portfolio evaluations

Key requirements- PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Biomedical Sciences, or related discipline OR
- Master's degree with 2 years of scientific research experience OR
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of scientific research experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Teamwork and collaboration in matrixed environments
- Ability to balance scientific rigor with urgency and adaptability
- Design and execution of cell-based, molecular, and biochemical assays
- Experience with primary human cells, fibroblast systems, tissue-derived cultures, organoid models or advanced in vitro disease models
- Understanding of tissue remodeling, fibrosis, extracellular matrix biology
