Real Estate Transactional Associate Attorney (Atlanta/Charlotte)

In this role you will support a leading real estate and commercial development practice, handling sophisticated transactions across a broad range of assets from conception to closing. You will work with seasoned professionals on high-profile deals in a hybrid Atlanta or Charlotte setting, contributing to development, financing, leasing, and dispositions. The position emphasizes cross-practice collaboration, client service, and delivering high-quality results at scale. This is an opportunity to shape complex real estate matters within a nationally recognized team.

• Represent clients in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing of commercial real estate
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, easements, covenants, joint venture documents, and loan agreements
• Provide counsel on development projects, land use, zoning, and entitlement issues
• Collaborate with tax, corporate finance, construction, and environmental teams to support transactions
• Advise developers, investors, lenders, landlords, and tenants on structuring, negotiating, and closing deals
• Support clients with real estate portfolio restructuring and joint venture formations

• 5+ years of substantive commercial real estate experience in a sophisticated law firm
• Experience in acquisitions, development, financing, leasing, and dispositions
• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects
