Overview In this role you will shape labor relations strategy for Microsoft across the Americas, partnering with HR, Legal, and senior leaders. You will help navigate complex workforce challenges, guide negotiations, and drive programs that balance business needs with employee experience. You'll influence decisions on collective bargaining, contracts, and workforce transformation while building scalable, values-based approaches. Your work will directly impact how the company manages labor relations at scale in a fast-changing environment. Responsibilities- Enhance manager capability through coaching and HR partner collaboration on labor issues and best practices
- Identify training needs, design and deliver labor relations training for management and leadership
- Enforce labor laws, contractual obligations, and CBAs; support negotiations and arbitrations with Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs
- Lead HR projects and scalable programs with Centers of Excellence; manage program governance, timelines, budgets
- Provide expert labor relations consulting to managers and employees on programs and initiatives
- Strengthen positive labor relations with employee representative bodies and manage organizing activity
- Oversee queue management and prioritize queries across channels
- Co-create regional labor relations strategy, analyze market trends, and develop operating model improvements
Key requirements- Master's degree in Business, Labor Relations, Human Resources, Law, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree with 7+ years
- 5+ years independently handling complex labor relations matters and influencing senior leaders
- 3+ years resolving employee issues under a collective bargaining agreement or union contract
- 3+ years leading and delivering projects in a complex, matrixed organization
- SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR certification (preferred)
