Overview In this OGC Counsel role, you resolve professional ethics conflicts and advise on compliance matters related to lateral matters, new engagements, and outside counsel guidelines across the firm. You will work with Ethics Committee Members and attorneys to apply ethical rules and firm policies in conflicts reviews and engagement decisions. The role supports training, audits, and policy maintenance within the Office of the General Counsel. This opportunity offers hybrid work with multiple U.S. office locations and a chance to shape firm-wide ethics and compliance practices.

Responsibilities- Review conflicts checks and relevant engagement materials
- Assess outside counsel guidelines and client RFPs to align responses with firm policies
- Advise on engagement letters, waivers, ethics walls, and firm policies
- Perform legal research on professional responsibility issues for senior leadership
- Prepare and deliver ethics and conflicts training for attorneys and staff
- Conduct partner compliance audits and collaborate with OGC colleagues
- Provide administrative support for Ethics Committee projects and data management
- Protect confidential and privileged information maintained by the firm
Key requirements- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent
- Active admission to the relevant state bar
- Minimum 3 years of relevant law and/or ethics conflicts experience in a global law firm (preferred)
