Senior HR Business Partner

Overview

In this role, you partner with HR leadership and business heads to shape talent and people plans for PLACE's Technology & Services units. You'll drive organizational planning, talent initiatives, and employee relations while owning a Center of Excellence area like Performance Management & Rewards or Culture & Engagement. You'll work across the Real Estate Teams ecosystem to translate business goals into people strategies and ensure compliant, scalable HR practices. The opportunity combines strategic impact with hands-on governance in a fast-growing, tech-enabled environment.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business unit and department leaders across PLACE Companies on talent initiatives and HR matters
  • Guide organizational planning including org design, headcount, workforce planning, and succession planning
  • Translate business goals into talent strategies and initiatives for leaders
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues with objective investigations
  • Coach leaders on HR situations and difficult conversations
  • Collaborate with Legal on compliance, benefits, and risk mitigation
  • Support goal setting, performance reviews, and calibration for assigned business units
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures with the VP of HR
  • Lead or assist special projects to strengthen talent initiatives and HR infrastructure
  • Collaborate with broader People Operations on onboarding, compensation, training, benefits, and employee services
  • Own a Center of Excellence functional area-building manager toolkits, driving programs, and reporting effectiveness to HR leadership
  • Ensure consistent adherence to HR policies across assigned units
Key requirements
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience
  • HRBP with experience handling complex employee relations
  • Experience with CoE-style programs (e.g., performance management, engagement, onboarding, or compliance)
  • Analytical and data-driven with ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong communication and relationship-building across all levels of an organization
  • PHR, SPHR, or equivalent certification is a plus
  • Familiarity with HRIS and performance management tools; ADP experience a bonus
