Responsibilities- Lead the preconstruction phase for data center projects ensuring clear design and scope
- Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for all construction stages
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize design and execution
- Manage bid processes including bid documents and evaluation of proposals
- Oversee development of project schedules to ensure timely preconstruction completion
- Facilitate stakeholder communication to resolve issues and align on goals
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in data center construction
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of preconstruction management experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities
- Proven expertise in estimating and cost management for construction projects
- Strong understanding of design-bid-build and design/build project delivery methods
- Experience with CMAR processes is highly desirable
- Familiarity with healthcare and hospital construction projects is a plus
