In this role, you will manage and optimize Red Hat and Oracle Linux environments, ensuring secure, compliant, and high-performing systems. You'll support both on-premises and virtualization workloads, handle third party software, and contribute to incident, change, and problem management. You work independently on assignments while aligning with IT service goals and security standards. Your work enables reliable operations and scalable infrastructure for client engagements. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to shape Linux infrastructure in a consulting environment.

• Install, upgrade, configure, and support Red Hat OS software
• Install, upgrade, configure, and support Oracle Linux OS software
• Install, configure, and support third-party software products
• Install, configure, and support Linux VMware guests
• Install, configure, and support firmware/driver software
• Understand environmental context (Zoning/LUNs) without defining them
• Provide technical support to resolve complex installation, update, configuration, operations, and performance issues
• Work independently when assigned

• Strong Linux system administration experience (Red Hat, Oracle Linux)
• Experience with installation, configuration, and support of third-party software
• Experience with VMware guests on Linux
• Experience with firmware/driver software installation and support
• Understanding of storage environment concepts (Zoning/LUNs)
• Ability to troubleshoot complex problems across product and service lifecycles
• Ability to work independently on assignments
• Experience with compliance/security/patching/audit/antivirus and change management (implied)
