Responsibilities- Advise on Development Consent Orders (DCOs) and infrastructure consenting regimes
- Handle Town and Country Planning Act matters including applications, appeals, and strategy
- Negotiate planning and infrastructure agreements
- Provide planning input on real estate, corporate, and infra transactions
- Collaborate with other practice areas to deliver practical, commercially focused advice
- Engage in business development and strengthen client relationships
- Mentor and support junior lawyers within a collaborative team environment
Key requirements- Qualified solicitor with approximately 3-6 years' PQE in planning law
- Experience advising on DCOs and complex planning matters for major projects
- Background in energy, transport, utilities, regeneration or wider infrastructure sectors advantageous
- Strong drafting skills, commercial/problem-solving approach, and excellent communication
