Overview In this role you will provide legal support for equity-linked derivatives products, advising on regulatory and contract issues and drafting transaction documents. You will work closely with business teams to structure and execute delta one and non-delta one transactions, ensuring compliance with securities laws and broker-dealer rules. You will coordinate with external counsel and internal control functions to mitigate legal and reputational risk in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities- Provide legal advice on equity-linked derivatives transactions (delta one and non-delta one)
- Draft, negotiate and execute transaction documents
- Identify and escalate legal/regulatory issues to senior legal leadership
- Coordinate with diverse stakeholders to mitigate risks
- Instruct and manage external counsel when needed
Key requirements- 3-10 years of equity derivatives experience
- J.D. and active New York Bar admission
- Knowledge of complex equity-linked derivatives and U.S. securities laws
- Experience with broker-dealer regulations and Exchange Act rules
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
