Overview As Senior Architect, you lead and execute design across multiple phases within a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring compliant, constructible solutions. You serve as the architectural point of contact for clients, engineers, estimators and construction teams, delivering complex, code-driven designs for large, high-ability projects. You apply problem-solving creativity to achieve technical and design excellence while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. This role offers impact through shaping significant facilities in life sciences and related markets.

Responsibilities- Lead and execute all design phases from programming to construction administration on complex projects
- Produce advanced architectural deliverables: plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules and specifications
- Prepare and present studies, reports and presentations to stakeholders
- Apply International Building Code and regulatory requirements to project delivery
- Coordinate with Engineering and Construction teams to ensure constructible designs
- Participate in drawing reviews, coordination meetings and quality checks
- Support construction activities with RFI responses, submittal reviews and progress reports
- Assist PM with resource planning, budget/scope definition and schedule adherence
- Perform quality checks on documents and design calculations to ensure project quality
- Identify and resolve code, construction or design challenges
- Mentor Architectural staff and act as Architect of Record when appropriate
Key requirements- Accredited Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch, M.Arch, and/or D.Arch) or Canadian / International equivalent
- Architectural license in good standing and NCARB certification
- Relevant AEC firm experience
- 10+ years of professional experience
