Overview In this role you will guide ADME strategies for Pfizer's small molecule portfolio, shaping experiments and interpreting data to mitigate disposition risks. You will own questions from hypothesis to actionable recommendations, collaborating with discovery and development teams to align with project needs. You'll lead fit-for-purpose enzymology studies, translate in vitro data to in vivo context, and communicate impactful findings to stakeholders. This position offers hands-on leadership in a lab-driven, cross-functional environment focused on predictive ADME science.

Responsibilities- Serve as the ADME scientific owner for project questions and align recommendations with stakeholder priorities
- Design, execute, and interpret fit-for-purpose enzymology studies addressing clearance, disposition, IVIV translation, and DDI risk
- Integrate in vitro ADME data to identify liabilities and propose next-step experiments
- Provide scientific ownership for ADME risk assessments to support project decisions
- Lead experimental work from the lab with high rigor and data quality
- Mentor scientists through oversight, guidance, data review, and coaching
- Identify capability gaps and create new options via technology, external networks, partnerships, or novel approaches
Key requirements- PhD in a related science discipline with 4+ years of relevant industry ADME experience OR MS with 9+ years OR BS with 12+ years
- Knowledge of enzymology/drug metabolism principles (enzyme kinetics, reaction phenotyping, DDI, PK predictions)
- Experience leading complex ADME workstreams with study design, data interpretation, and actionable recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reports, project recommendations, and external communications
