Overview As an Assistant Professor at the NEAG Comprehensive Cancer Center, you will lead research in cell biology, biochemistry, and molecular biology focused on human bladder cancer. You will build on post doctoral experience, contribute to a strong publication record, and ideally secure funding to support your work. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance cancer biology knowledge and translational impact. This role offers a path to develop an independent research program within a renowned cancer center.
Responsibilities- Drive independent research in cell biology/biochemistry/molecular biology of human bladder cancer
- Maintain a strong publication record
- Pursue competitive research funding and manage funded projects (preferred)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the cancer center and university
- Mentor and supervise post doctoral researchers or junior scientists
Key requirements- PhD, MD or PhD/MD
