Overview As Document Control Coordinator, you ensure high-quality project documentation and metadata accuracy within an electronic document management system. You support seamless information flow between the company, contractors, and vendors on complex capital projects. You oversee document control processes, training, and compliance to enable efficient delivery and audit-ready records. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to shape document workflows in a technically focused environment.
Responsibilities- Manage official project documentation in the document management system
- Quality check and classify project and vendor documents for accuracy and compliance
- Maintain records, metadata, numbering, titles, revisions, and status
- Coordinate document transmittals between company and contractors
- Track internal review status and support process consistency across teams
- Assist with supplier/contractor compliance in document management and metadata
- Provide technical guidance for electronic project files and processes
- Contribute to form development and process improvements; train additional document controllers
Key requirements- Four to six years of document control experience
- Experience supporting TA/TAR/STO or similar plant shutdowns
- Minimum of three years administering an electronic document management system
- Experience distinguishing between types of project documentation
- Experience in an integrated team environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight timeframes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Strong knowledge of electronic document management systems

- MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access or similar database tools
