Overview

As a Senior Data Science Consultant at Parsons, you will enable the Air Force Mission Assurance data platform and analytics capabilities. You'll design user-centric data collection interfaces and maintain system documentation and knowledge transfer for Air Force personnel. You will optimize performance, integrate with DoD MA systems, and translate analytical insights into decision-ready products for senior leaders. This role combines data engineering, AI/ML, and enterprise workflow orchestration to support critical defense missions.

Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize data collection platform UX to ensure intuitive data entry and accuracy
  • Maintain documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer processes for Air Force personnel
  • Perform system maintenance, enhancements, and performance optimizations
  • Develop integrations with DoD MA systems and Data Fabric to sustain enterprise data capabilities
  • Collaborate with business owners to translate requirements into technical specs and deliverables
  • Provide analytical support to Mission Assurance activities
  • Coordinate enterprise data platform activities and advocate for MA data initiatives
  • Review and evolve data architecture; ensure stewardship and process support
  • Enable and automate workflow data platforms; sustain and scale data workflows
Key requirements
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
  • Master's degree
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Palantir Foundry Application Developer certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • Experience applying advanced analytics, AI/ML, and statistics to complex mission data sets
  • Ability to implement, sustain, and scale MA data workflows and decision-support tools
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry data integration and platform applications
  • Ability to align data workflows with governance requirements and decision-support needs
  • Experience configuring government-directed data platform capabilities for analysis, monitoring, reporting, and automation
