Overview In this role you support Exponent's Chemical Regulation & Food Safety Practice by coordinating client projects, applying regulatory insights, and ensuring high-quality evaluations for regulatory submissions. You will work with cross-functional teams and regulators to advance product stewardship and TSCA-related initiatives. The position emphasizes project management, clear communication, and delivering technically solid regulatory support. Responsibilities- Manage and track client projects, deliverables and budgets
- Collaborate with internal teams on client tasks and timelines
- Interact with clients and EPA/State regulators
- Apply chemical regulatory policies (TSCA) to complex client challenges
- Support product stewardship initiatives in real-world settings
- Prepare and submit regulatory approval documents
- Provide regulatory and technical review and quality control for TSCA and product stewardship projects
Key requirements- B.S. degree required
- 3 years of consulting or government regulatory experience
- Experience with TSCA and environmental regulations
- Detail oriented with strong time management and independence
- Excellent written and verbal communication, editing and proofreading
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Experience with project management, budgeting, and invoicing is a plus
- Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) and MS Office suite
