Overview In this role you will lead ADC process development within Pfizer's Conjugation Process Development team, shaping early to late-stage programs. You'll apply expert scientific judgment to optimize conjugation processes, mentor colleagues, and forecast resources to meet project milestones. You'll work across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality ADC products that address cancer and improve patient outcomes. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position at the heart of Pfizer's R&D mission.

Responsibilities- Independently design, execute and interpret studies to answer defined questions within timeframes
- Monitor results, troubleshoot, and develop corrective actions
- Facilitate technology/assay transfers internally and externally
- Contribute to department and project teams and represent the group on cross-functional teams
- Present at national/international forums when appropriate
- Author and review technical reports, manufacturing documents, regulatory submissions and publications
- Identify and propose process improvement and technology development opportunities
Key requirements- Bachelor's/Master's/PhD with relevant years of experience as specified
- Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or related field
- Direct experience with antibodies, proteins, and/or bioconjugation
- Strong knowledge of analytical protein characterization (HPLC, IEF, CE-SDS)
- Willingness to work with highly potent cytotoxic molecules
- Ability to perform complex data analysis
- Foundational understanding of organic chemistry, reaction mechanisms, and process development
