Overview In this role you drive preconstruction pricing as a principal contact for design teams and owners, guiding multiple project delivery methods. You will perform and oversee both basic and advanced estimating, including mechanical and electrical scopes, while preparing conceptual estimates and logistics plans. You'll mentor estimators, coordinate with operations to align schedules and staffing, and provide constructability feedback to keep projects cost-effective and feasible. This position anchors cost control and collaboration across design, field, and owners to deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities- Capably perform basic estimating functions including quantity takeoff and pricing for all trades
- Develop conceptual estimates for review by senior personnel
- Provide justification and reconciliation of Sundt estimates with third-party consultants
- Lead preparation of estimating documents and deliverables with minimal oversight
- Perform advanced estimating tasks as prime point of contact for hard bid pursuits and constructability reviews
- Coordinate with operations to ensure feasible schedule, logistics, and staffing
- Provide feedback to design team regarding cost and constructability
Key requirements- Four-year engineering degree or equivalent
- Project experience in one or more key market sectors identified by the business unit
- LEED accreditation and DBIA certification, or willingness to obtain
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven history as prime point of contact with minimal oversight
- Ten or more years of experience in estimating
