Overview In this role you will serve as a senior technology advisor and architect, shaping large-scale solutions for financial services clients. You will lead architectural workstreams, prototyping efforts, and technology strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex IT problems. The position emphasizes hands-on development and architectural leadership to drive impactful, scalable solutions. This is an opportunity to influence technology direction in a consulting context and work with leading frameworks like Pega.
Responsibilities- Lead solution definition phases with rapid prototyping and conference room pilots
- Provide advanced technology advisory services and architecture guidance
- Define new architectures and drive independent projects from an architectural standpoint
- Develop and shape technology solutions for financial services domains
- Hands-on development across Java/.NET or OO languages and related web/enterprise stacks
- Experience with PL/SQL and Unix/Linux scripting; manage databases (Oracle or MS SQL)
- Oversee monitoring, installation and administration in WebSphere or WebLogic environments
Key requirements- At least 7 years in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture
- Hands-on development experience with Pega PRPC v5.x/v6.x; Pega CSSA/CLSA certification
- Experience in PL/SQL and Unix/Linux scripting
- Experience with Oracle or MS SQL databases
- Experience with WebSphere or WebLogic in administration or monitoring
- Knowledge of J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), web development (JSP/JavaScript/CSS), .Net or OO languages
- Minimum 5 years in defining architectures and technology solutions for financial services
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of market and technology trends
