Overview In this HR Leadership role, you will shape the talent strategy and employee experience at PCL Construction Enterprises. You will lead talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation, and employee relations within the US Head Office, aligning with district and company priorities. You will coach leaders through succession planning and performance improvements, and guide complex investigations and change initiatives. Responsibilities- Oversight and implementation of the HR strategic plan for talent acquisition and onboarding strategies
- Leads development, execution, and monitoring of district HRPD strategy and KPIs in alignment with strategic plans
- Responsible for overall accountability, execution, and integrity of recruitment and onboarding programs
- Leads local market research and analysis for salary/bonus review cycle and manages compensation plan
- Provides coaching to supervisors on succession planning
- Guides supervisors through progressive discipline and performance improvement plans
- Leads complex investigations and risk assessment, communicates outcomes, and ensures reporting
- Leads implementation, evaluation, and measurement of corporate and regional initiatives
- Involved in litigation and/or mediation for employee relations issues
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Trusted advisor with strong relationship management with stakeholders
- Strong leadership with delegation and motivation of HRPD leaders
- Senior HR leadership experience in a large construction organization (strongly preferred)
- Experience partnering with operational leaders in project-based construction (strongly preferred)
- Advanced HR knowledge and employment legislation
- Experience in training, facilitation, and managing complex sessions
- Experience executing employment investigations
- Ability to lead teams through significant change management initiatives
