Overview In this HRBP role, you will blend operational HR delivery with strategic partnership to support leaders and teams. You'll advise on people-related challenges, drive HR programs, and help shape organizational effectiveness in a hybrid, mission-focused environment. You'll work closely with managers to enable high-performing teams aligned with KBR's values and goals. Responsibilities- Manage routine HR processes and transactions using Workday with accuracy and speed
- Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, policy administration, compensation and classification reviews
- Ensure HR programs and processes are implemented consistently and effectively
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries with high customer service
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience
- Provide day-to-day coaching to managers on performance, development, and team effectiveness
- Support change management and organizational initiatives through effective communication
- Manage employee relations matters and conduct workplace investigations as needed
- Partner with managers to understand business needs and provide practical HR guidance for objectives and improvements
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree
- 5-8 years of progressive HR experience across multiple HR disciplines
- Experience supporting managers and employees in generalist, HRBP, or employee relations-focused roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
- Proven ability to build relationships and provide HR guidance in a business setting
- Experience handling employee relations matters and investigations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage administrative HR tasks while maintaining a broader business perspective
- Willingness to work a hybrid schedule and support across time zones
- Ability to travel 0-20% as needed
