Overview In this role you drive growth as the local agronomic expert for Bayer Crop Science, advising key growers on products, technology, and insights to influence in-season decisions. You will collaborate with Field Sales Representatives to plan, engage customers, and execute agronomic strategies from planning through harvest. The position emphasizes expanding market share and delivering value driven recommendations across the growing season. Responsibilities- Develop and lead a portfolio business plan with Field Sales Representatives for a high-potential geography
- Build relationships with key growers, offering agronomic insights, product selection, and placement guidance
- Lead grower demand generation plans and support others' responsibilities to achieve squad goals
- Provide whole-farm agronomic advice, stay updated on agricultural research, and guide product placement
- Drive Bayer portfolio trials with targeted growers
- Support key seasonal milestones: crop planning, in-season needs, scouting, and harvest monitoring
- Collaborate with FSRs, TAs, and Partners on business planning and aligning with growers' objectives
- Address performance issues and assist with season needs (PPIs, replants)
- Make strategic recommendations to leadership for innovative business improvements
- Coordinate with peers on programs/issues to gain alignment and drive resolutions
- Monitor grower accounts, track activities, and identify new opportunities
- Manage annual SG&A budget and program expenditures
- Travel approximately 60% with substantial face-to-face customer interaction
