Overview In this contract role, you will shape how we attract and retain talent for Novartis. You'll partner with managers to align hiring with business needs and drive a data driven recruitment approach. You'll coach teams, manage key admin and analytics tasks, and represent Novartis at events to bolster our employer brand. You'll work with cross functional partners to ensure compliant, effective staffing and relocation processes, contributing to our mission as an employer of choice.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement staffing strategies to attract qualified candidates and retain talent
- Coach managers on hiring, interviewing, and selection processes
- Generate HR metrics for recruiting effectiveness and for management
- Manage recruiting admin tasks (candidate travel, interview agendas, interview scheduling)
- Collaborate with managers to anticipate current and future staffing needs
- Engage in college relations and targeted school recruiting programs
- Build and maintain a referral network through HR and industry connections
- Represent Novartis at job fairs and professional meetings
- Ensure job postings comply with policies and AAP guidelines; coordinate with staffing to produce AAP reports
- Ensure relocation program adherence and vendor/employee issue resolution
- Participate in other HR projects; travel to regional meetings and job fairs as needed
Key requirements- 10+ years recruiting experience in the San Francisco Bay Area
- Industry experience required; manufacturing experience a plus
- Experience establishing and streamlining hiring processes
- Proven successful partnerships with stakeholders
