Overview As a Sourcing Specialist at Edward Jones, you will manage multiple, concurrent sourcing initiatives across business units. You will negotiate pricing and key contract terms, partnering with Legal and executive stakeholders to align on cost and risk. You'll develop RFx documents, evaluate vendors, and drive cost savings and risk mitigation through data-driven insights. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, contract governance, and continuous growth in strategic sourcing. You will contribute to ethical, cost-conscious purchasing that supports the firm's mission and operations.

Responsibilities- Lead multiple, concurrent sourcing initiatives in a cross-functional team environment (strategy, vendor selection, market intelligence, contract execution)
- Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with vendor executives and internal Legal partners
- Guide senior leaders toward optimal purchasing decisions balancing business needs and cost
- Develop and distribute RFx documents (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and establish vendor selection criteria with cross-functional teams
- Maintain accurate records in the contract management system and related sourcing tools
- Use procurement tools to create operational efficiency and visibility across the enterprise
- Identify ad hoc opportunities to reduce costs and support operational improvement initiatives
- Demonstrate continuous learning and growth in sourcing skills
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years related work experience, preferably involving negotiation and contracts
- Understanding of Supply Chain management concepts and procedures
- Understanding of legal and contracting environments
- Understanding of operating environments of Finance, HR, Marketing, Information Systems
- Ability to identify and avoid potential conflicts of interest and uphold ethical standards
- Ability to communicate cost models, risk, and business concepts at executive levels with vendors
