Overview In this role you will lead the delivery of 10-15 store remodel projects across the Southwest Business Unit, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and Walmart quality. You will work hands-on in the field, travel weekly to project sites, and partner with GC's and cross-functional teams to keep projects moving. You will leverage project management tools and emerging AI-driven insights to monitor health, communicate risks, and improve execution. Responsibilities- Own the delivery of 10-15 active store remodels with focus on schedule, budget, quality, safety, and performance
- Travel weekly within the Southwest Business Unit to monitor progress and address issues onsite
- Identify and mitigate project risks; escalate when needed to maintain timelines
- Manage contractor and vendor performance, including change orders, costs, timelines, and Walmart standards
- Collaborate with Store Operations, Facilities, Procurement, design, and engineering to align priorities and minimize disruption
- Utilize project management software, data, and AI tools to monitor project health and improve delivery
Key requirements- Strong construction PM experience delivering multiple concurrent projects on time and within budget
- Hands-on field leadership; ability to assess progress, identify risks, and hold contractors accountable
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, change orders, and vendors
- Strong communication and cross-functional leadership; ability to make decisions in fast-moving environments
- Comfort with project management technology and AI tools; willingness to travel weekly across the Southwest
