Overview As a CMT Field Manager at Olsson, you will lead field operations for construction materials testing, mentor technical staff, and strengthen client relationships to deliver safe, high-quality projects. You will review plans, manage QA/QC across multiple sites, and develop scopes, budgets, and proposals. You'll be the on-site technical resource, safeguard safety and performance, and help grow Olsson's CMT practice in Northwest Arkansas.

Responsibilities- Lead and mentor field technicians and inspection staff with a focus on safety and professional growth
- Oversee QA/QC across multiple construction projects
- Review and interpret project plans, specs, geotechnical reports, and requirements
- Serve as primary technical resource for field teams, contractors, and clients
- Develop scopes of work, budgets, estimates, and proposals for new opportunities
- Monitor schedules, staffing, and budgets to ensure project success
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication
- Conduct and supervise field and laboratory testing activities as needed
- Prepare and review project reports and inspection documentation for accuracy
- Facilitate preconstruction and coordination meetings
- Identify risks and implement solutions to maintain quality, safety, and performance
- Support business development by identifying opportunities for repeat/expanded services
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety requirements
