Overview In this hybrid New York role, you will support KM initiatives within a leading law firm to boost productivity and efficiency. You'll help collect and organize know-how, keep practice resources current, and implement lawyer-facing technologies and innovative workflows. You'll partner with KM counsel and practice teams to drive knowledge-based solutions and scalable processes. Responsibilities- Develop and implement knowledge management solutions with KM group and practice attorneys
- curate and upload reference materials to practice sites and KM tools, ensuring up-to-date alignment with practice needs
- Assist practitioners in locating internal and external knowledge resources
- monitor legal/industry developments relevant to select practices
- automate documents and workflows using automation software
- support AI-driven due diligence tools and other legal technologies in client matters
- evaluate, select, and implement new technologies and practice workflows, coordinating with vendors and tech teams
- document and promote best practices in new technologies within practice teams
- build relationships with attorneys to promote KM initiatives and gather feedback
- facilitate internal knowledge sharing and collaboration among KM staff and users
- assist with KM initiatives in collaboration with KM counsel and lawyers
- demonstrate strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- manage Firm resources responsibly and adhere to Firm policies
- perform other related duties as assigned
Key requirements- Experience in a corporate or large law firm environment
- Understanding of transactional workflows and due diligence processes
- Experience with GenAI tools (e.g., Harvey) and automation tools (e.g., Contract Express, Neota Logic, Hot Docs) and AI-enabled due diligence tools (e.g., Kira, eBrevia, Luminance) or eDiscovery tools
- Ability to learn new KM-related applications quickly
- Knowledge of information retrieval and database searching
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with firm software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
- Attention to detail, analytical, troubleshooting, planning skills
- Discretion, independent judgment, ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
