Overview In this role you will support a growing environmental consultancy by delivering ecological surveys, assessments, and reporting to aid planning and development across the UK. Responsibilities- Undertake ecological field surveys, including habitat and protected species surveys
- Prepare technical reports (Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, Biodiversity Net Gain assessments)
- Assist with project management and client liaison
- Support ecological mitigation, enhancement, and monitoring projects
- Ensure work meets high technical standards and complies with legislation and best practice
Key requirements- Degree qualified in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- Experience undertaking ecological surveys and report writing
- Good knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Membership of a relevant professional body desirable
- Full UK driving licence preferred
