Overview You will lead HR and recruiting for a 100-employee, three-shift warehouse. You'll own full-cycle hiring for all warehouse roles, from sourcing to offers, and design onboarding that accelerates productivity and boosts retention. You'll be on the floor to stay connected with staff, resolve issues early, and shape a positive, engaging workplace. Fluency in Spanish is a strong plus as you support a diverse hourly workforce. This role centers on building scalable staffing and a culture where employees want to stay and grow.
Responsibilities- Lead full-cycle recruiting for warehouse roles (shipping/receiving, leads/supervisors, forklift operators, unloaders, order pickers, inventory specialists)
- Source, screen, interview, make offers, and hire across the building
- Create and implement an onboarding program to rapidly onboard new hires and enhance retention
- Be present on the floor to address issues early and maintain approachability and trust
- Collaborate with managers to forecast staffing needs and optimize workforce planning
- Drive employee engagement and retention strategies to reduce turnover
- Support a diverse hourly workforce, with Spanish-speaking team members as a potential emphasis
- Monitor and address workplace problems before they escalate
Key requirements- Experience recruiting and hiring in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or other high-volume hourly environments
- Proven ability to build onboarding processes that improve productivity and retention
